Totals For 12 months 2586 KWh exported to the national grid 1668KWh used in House
Total saving on energy from the national Grid 4254KWh of Energy.

These figures which are based on actual meter reading clearly indicate that solar energy is viable for 8 months of the year, the remaining four months requiring power from the National grid.
The installation is only a viable proposition on the basis that over the period of the year what is taken from the national grid is returned during the summer months along with a small additional amount generated.
Just under 1/3, approximately of the total generated is used in house, based on the return for the year 09/10
